| 1 | Please read the test regulations carefully by referring to the back of the admission ticket or our website at www.toeic.com.tw prior to testing date. |
| 2 | Please ensure that you bring the admission ticket, an acceptable form of identification, medium-soft black (2B) pencils and erasers with you to the test. |
| 3 | Please glue a 2-inch color passport photo taken within the last 6 months to the admission ticket. The photo must be taken without headgear and printed on photo paper. Laminated, photocopied, or stamp embossed photos are unacceptable. Those without an acceptable and recognizable photo will not be permitted to take the test. |

Acceptable identification is limited to an original R.O.C. ID Card or a valid passport. Those without one of the forms of identification listed above will not be permitted to take the test even if other forms of identification (including driver’s license, National Health Insurance Card, or student ID etc.) are presented. Admission will be denied if the name on the test taker's ID does not correspond to the name used for registration. Please note that the name of the test taker cannot be altered after the test. If a name change should occur before the test date, the test taker is required to provide a copy of their Household Registry Certificate for approval. |
| 5 | Test time and venue are as indicated on the admission ticket. Test takers are not permitted to request a change in the test time or venue once the admission ticket is issued. |
| 6 | Test takers under the age of 14 are also required to present a R.O.C. ID Card or a valid passport to be admitted to the test. |
| 7 | Please arrive at the testing room 15 minutes prior to the start of the test. No one will be admitted after testing has begun. When entering the test site, look for your admission ticket number on the seating charts posted at the entrance to find your seat. Be prepared to present your admission ticket and ID upon entry. Please note that no one will be allowed to enter the test site once testing has begun. |
| 8 | In the event that the admission ticket has been misplaced, please bring one of the acceptable forms of identification and a passport photo to the service counter for a reissue one hour prior to the start of the test. |
| 9 | Mobile phones and other electronic devices should be switched off completely before entering the test room. Unauthorized items are not permitted in the test room, and should be placed at locations as directed by the test supervisors. |
| 10 | Please avoid bringing any valuables to the test venue. Test takers are fully responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. |
| 11 | The test lasts for approximately 2.5 hours without any scheduled breaks. If a test taker wishes to leave the test room temporarily during the test, they must seek permission from the supervisor before leaving. Any time lost as a result of the test taker’s own departure will not be compensated. Leaving the test room without permission is against the testing regulations. The violator’s test will not be scored and no refund will be made. |
| 12 | The test is divided into two sections – Listening and Reading. A specific amount of time is allocated for each section. Answering other sections outside the designated time will result in disqualification. |
| 13 | Taking the test for someone else will result in a three-year ban for all parties involved. Attempts to remove test materials from the test room or to audio record any part of the test will result in a five-year ban from the test. |
| 14 | Test takers are to mark on the answer sheet ONLY. All other markings made on the test materials, admission ticket, or any other objects, along with any misbehavior including, but not limited to: giving or receiving assistance, communication with other test takers during the test, using notes, or cheating in any other way, are viewed as a misconduct which results in disqualification. Disqualified candidates are not eligible for scoring or refund. |
| 15 | Test takers are required to stop working immediately once time is called. Test takers are asked to sit quietly while test materials are collected. Any writing after the designated time is considered misconduct. Writing after the finish time will result in score cancellation. Test takers will not be dismissed until all test materials have been collected and accounted for. |
| 16 | Smoking, drinking and eating are not permitted in the test room. |
| 17 | Failure to follow any of the testing regulations specified here or given by the test supervisor will result in dismissal from the test room and cancellation of scores. No refund or rescheduling will be granted. |
| 18 | The TOEIC test is copyrighted property of Educational Testing Service. Duplicating and recording are strictly prohibited. |
| 19 | Failure to follow items 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18 listed above will result in disqualification. Test scores will be cancelled and no refund or rescheduling will be granted. |
| 20 | If for any reason the answer sheet cannot be scored, Chun Shin Limited will make appropriate follow-up arrangements which may include letting candidates sit a supplementary test. |
| 21 | In the case of a natural disaster, inclement weather, strikes, public possessions or other unforeseeable events that prevent testing to proceed as scheduled, subsequent arrangements will be announced by Chun Shin Limited. |
| 22 | In case of an epidemic disease or flu, Chun Shin Limited will take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of all test takers. Test takers are asked to cooperate with special arrangements or regulations which may include body temperature measurement at the entrance to the test room, the use of face masks and sterilizers in the test room, or the denial of entry for test takers suspected to be carriers of such disease or flu etc. |
| 23 | Chun Shin Limited reserves the right to the final interpretation of the regulations drafted above. |
| 24 | Where discrepancies between the Chinese and English translations of the above terms and conditions occur, the terms and conditions will be interpreted according to the Chinese version. |
